SHS recognizes techonology, career students, teachers

SHEPHERD — The month of February is National Career and Technical Education Month. Shepherd High School recognizes their Career and Technical Education teachers and is proud of the growth in the classes offered and the number of students enrolled in the programs.

Shepherd High School Career and Technical teachers are Lisa Courvelle, India Peden, Robert Peden and Holly Harrison.Shepherd High School Career and Technical teachers are Lisa Courvelle, India Peden, Robert Peden and Holly Harrison.Shepherd High School offers the traditional agriculture classes, construction management, family consumer science, business and technology classes. But SHS also offers Health Science, Commercial Photography, Floral Design, Culinary, and Veterinary Medical Application. Students are also able to take Career and Technical Education courses that give them a science or math credit, such as, Advanced Animal Science, Forensic Science, Mathematical Applications in Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources, and Statistics and Risk Management.
